Marseille

The second biggest city in France (and the oldest) sits under the eternal gaze of a golden Mary Magdalen glistening in the sun atop the enormous Catholic basilica Notre Dame de la Garde. This is a city that is many things: there are large North African, Arabic, Italian and Corsican communities embedding multiculturalism.
